  • In-home rehabilitation may be helpful if your pet is slowing down, having difficulty with stairs, rising or moving comfortably, recovering from surgery or injury, or showing signs of stiffness or limping. If you are unsure, an in-home evaluation can help determine whether rehabilitation is appropriate.

  • A referral is not required. We are happy to work directly with you and can also collaborate with your primary veterinarian to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.

  • We commonly work with arthritis, post-surgical recovery, neurologic conditions, age-related mobility changes, and sports or activity-related injuries—all in the comfort of your home.

  • In-home care allows your pet to remain in a familiar, low-stress environment while receiving treatment. It also allows us to directly evaluate how they move within their daily space and tailor recommendations accordingly.

  • Progress is evaluated in structured intervals, often using 6-visit goals to ensure measurable improvement. Some pets improve within the first few visits, while others—especially chronic cases—progress more gradually. Our goal is always to ensure changes are meaningful, sustainable, and positively impacting quality of life.

  • This varies depending on your pet’s condition and goals. Some pets benefit from short treatment plans, while others require ongoing maintenance care. Progress is reassessed regularly.

  • Every pet responds differently in their home environment. If something is not well tolerated, we adjust the plan and use alternative techniques to ensure comfort and safety.

  • I do not provide primary veterinary care services such as blood work, imaging, or vaccinations. If any recommendations arise that require coordination with your primary care veterinarian (for example, blood work for medication monitoring), I am happy to communicate directly with them to support your pet’s ongoing care.

  • Most insurance companies cover rehabilitation exams and treatments. However, I recommend contacting them to ensure that they do. I am happy to provide any paperwork needed for you to submit your claim. I am currently working to partner with care credit.
